I'm a bit of a sucker for gadgets of all types, electronics, pens, etc., so I naturally had to try those fancy new earplugs with circles and 'stuff' on them to make their noise reduction even better according to the nany listings.I have ADHD and sometimes I need to block out noise as completely as possible to stay focused on what I'm working on. Here's a few things I've used to achieve this:Fancy Dan earplugs with all the circles and 'stuff'-they reduce the noise but you need to pfaff around getting the best result from them. Completely forgotten the next time you use them.Over Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones-they work well except my ADHD brain is weak-willed and easily led so I get distracted by the background music playing through the headphones;Noise Cancelling Ear Buds-not as efficient as the Over Ear Headphones at reducing noise but better than nothing.And then there are Mack's. Simple Silicone Ear Plugs, east to fit and within seconds the noise is barely audible. Perfect! They're easy to remove too.*Added Bonus: They are great in tbe shower stopping every drop of water from filling up your ear canal.By far the cheapest option of the lot and in my opinion they do the best job. Recommended.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Great earplugs for swimming. Easy to insert and remove, stay in place while I swim, and keep the water out.

This is my first try at ear plugs for swimming and I must say these work well and so far have stayed put. They are a bit uncomfortable when first fitted but settle down well. They do muffle speech quite a lot so really only used for swimming activity.

Brilliant swimming earplus

Everybody's ears are a different size and shape so what's good for one person is hopeless for somebody else.I have ear canals that bend and turn more than most and always suffered from water blockage for 24-48 hours after swimming. I've tried the putty / silicone types but they don 't stay in place without head bands and caps etc, and even with all that faff, they still leak. However this product is a good fit for me and blocks all water ingress. I noticed that they do NOT float, so if you lose one, don't expect to see it on the water surface. Still, a tiny point that doesn't detract from a 5 star review.

There ok but find them really hard to get in my ears,then when I do I still find water gets in.

Best ear plugs for swimming.

Worked well for open water swimming followed the instructions on the box.
