Heavy Cotton Ektorp 3 Seat Sofa Cotton Cover Replacement Compatible with IKEA Ektorp Three Seat Sofa Slipcover (Light Gray Durable Cotton)

Definitely recommend if you’re looking to change your Ektorp covers. Fit was perfect and these covers seem to be excellent quality and very sturdy. I would personally choose the polyester option over the cotton ones. I bought both and ended up returning the cotton. While the cotton was softer, it was soo wrinkled and seemed slightly oversized making the whole couch look sloppy. I was scared to try to shrink it a little in the dryer since I’ve seen people say they shrink so much. The polyester is less soft feeling than the cotton but seems more stain/spill resistant and looks better. Definitely recommend!

This is my third ektorp cover. The first (beige) held up after multiple washing for over 5 years until I had a guess put some cigarette burns in the cushion cover. The second (light grey) lasted less than 2 years and two washing before it shrank so much that it ripped when I put it on.This one, while the fabric is not as heavy as the originals it has a nice enough heft and good feel even though it’s polyester. Went on in minutes with no struggle. A perfect trim fit.I ran it thru the drier with a wet towel for 8 min to get rid of most of the wrinkles. Will need a little hand teaming to get it perfect.Will never by a cotton version again because of the shrinkage issue. I assume as 100% poly, the color and fit will last!Highly recommend.

We have a leather Ektorp 3-seat sofa. This linen sofa cover set is well-made.Our only issue was that our sofa style had the bottom seat cushions directly SEWN into the leather sides of the sofa, so we had to cut the leather near the zipper in the BACK of the seat cushion to get the foam cushions out of the leather zippered compartments.Unfortunately, the zippered compartments did not have enough space to pull the cushions out because there is very little room between the seat cushion and the back of the couch. We were okay with cutting the leather a little bit, as we accepted that if this didn't work, we were going to get rid of the couch anyway since I no longer care for the matte brown leather color.We pulled the foam seat cushions out and then put them into the new linen seat covers, then we put the new linen covers on the back cushions, and then we put the large one-piece linen sofa cover over the remainder of the sofa. I think it looks better - more updated, perhaps.In the lower right side of the photo is a smaller picture of the sofa before the new cover - the beach ball is there to show the deepness of the brown leather.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with this fabric, but it gives off a fuzz that I can’t get rid of. I’ve washed and dried them put them back on and they still do the same thing. So disappointing. I’ve always had good luck with IKEA stuff but not anymore

Great fit and quality!

This is a great slipcover if you have an ektorp sofa but don't live near an ikea and if they don't deliver to you. The white is a true white, not cream or off-white. It's that similar canvas-like material as the ikea slipcover, but not quite as thick as the ikea one. The large piece that goes over the sofa frame is a bit tight, especially on the arms, and easily rips unless you put it on slowly and carefully. The best thing about this product is the covers for the 6 cushions has much more slack than the ikea cover. The ikea cover was so tight over the cushions that it made them not very comfortable to sit on, and this product gives the cushions more room to expand in the covers, making a much comfier sofa.

Edit - from four to five stars after two months we are very happy with these items. We purchased replacement covers for our Ektorp loveseat, chair and ottoman. I love them even though the fabric is a bit weird. I expected it to be less shiny and more flaxy. I don't hate it, but it is very shiny and a little slick. It looks to me like a shiny chambray. It's not deep grey and it doesn't resemble the close up photo of the fabric. We got this cover to replace the Jonsbodo blue Ektorp cover, which we loved and was amazing for many years. I will say that I do like this cover too and it appears to be very well made. It looks very similar to the Jonsboda fabric from a distance, which is odd as we were expecting grey. It is not too big or wrinkly, it's a perfect fit and very easy to get on. Wish this company offered some fun colors and prints. I would recommend this item.
