Opening the door from the inside feels oddly different, but that’s what you get for aftermarket.

Literally just finished installing this in my 2016 Tundra. Took all of about 30 minutes start to finish. This completely solved my problem of the door not locking and the truck not beeping when locking with the remote. Refer to videos on YouTube for installation procedure.
