I got this because I wanted some hair tinsel, but my hair is really soft and the tinsel keeps sliding out. A friend recommended I tried something like thisI attached the tinsel to the bead and threaded through my hair using the tool, which was easy enough, I did try too much hair once and think it was going to stay stuck but it got it through.I've given these 4 stars because while they have an interior silicon lining, the don't seem to have a load of grip on my hair. It, of course, means they're easy to remove, but perhaps a little too easy. However, if used for something like hair extensions that would provide more friction than tinsel, I imagine they'll hold much better
