Worked for Lexus IS250C 2010
I wasn't sure because it wasn't explicitly stated in the description but I just used one of these on a 2010 Lexus IS 250C. The windshield was replaced recently and the rain sensor stopped working. All I did was I detached the sensor from the window (there was no gel on there) and used cleaning alcohol wipes on the glass and on the black part of the sensor. I then cut one of the gel packs to the size of the black part of the rain sensor and applied the "white" side of the gel pack to the window. It looked a little large because the black part on the rain sensor is a little smaller than the gap on the window. I then pushed out all of the air bubbles with my finger then removed the gel tape cover on the red side and pressed the sensor back on the windshield and inserted the clip. The red side was a little challenging to separate from the gel, especially when already on the windshield, so I would recommend lifting up a corner before you attach it to the windshield. I wasn't sure about my particular car but it turns out it works for probably most cars. The whole thing was pretty easy actually and I am not a car guy. I now have 2 other gel packs I don't need which is fine. Maybe I'll need the gel again someday or more likely it will go into a drawer and never see the light of day.

Exactly what I needed
Works perfect. It cuts down easily with scissors and fits into odd sized rain sensor areas

Windshield wiper sensor pad
Worked great and my rain sensing windshield wipers work now.

Good, but the red part is difficult to remove (be patient with this)
Good, but the red sleeve is very, very sticky, finicky and much harder to unpeel than the white section. Takes some patience and restraint. Expect some of it to stick to your fingers, watch for bubbles, and you will be golden. There is plenty in the packet in case you screw up.

Easy Fix for Automatic Wiper Sensor
Bought a used 2023 Toyota Rav4 and the Auto wiper feature did not work because the gel pad not replaced on sensor with replacement windshield. Checked a You Tube video and this pad recommended. Instructions do not come in the package but the Amazon page has instructions. Refrigerating the pad before trimming helps. Wipers work fine now in Auto mode. Easy fix that works!

2012 Cadillac SRX
This is my wife's car and the auto wipers would intermittently work. I noticed from the outside that there was a air bubble between the sensor and glass. The windshield has been replaced a couple years ago but we didn't notice an issue then. I removed the sensor and found that it was just stuck to the windshield with a clear sticker gel pad that was on the red lense that pops off had come loose. I did a lot of research but couldn't tell if this was the right stuff to use. Non of the auto parts places carry this that I could tell. Just took a couple minutes of trimming to get this square to the right size. The red side is more difficult to remove than the white side. Stuck it back on and bam!Wipers work in auto now! Plus I have spare pads. I did drop the first one and get dirt on it, so I threw that one away.

DO NOT BUY - will melt and glue your sensor to the windshield
I bought this to put my rain sensor back on my windshield - the sensor needs a clear gel pad to go between it and the windshield. Was still having troubles with my sensor after a month, so I decided to remove it. I was surprised to find my sensor glued to the windshield - this gel pad melted and couldn't be removed. Broke my sensor trying to remove it.
