So much fun!
It is a small quick indoor car. That being said a great way to enjoy RC car play on cold or rainy days. This car can be a bit pricey , I suggest waiting for sales!

FAST little car. Drifts for days
For the price paid, this little guy is awesome. It’s quick, AWD, has lights, and drifts great on the right surface. (No gyro needed). I drive mine around in my family room and kitchen which has LVP flooring. It’s almost a perfect surface for easy drifting. Yet the car also hooks up when you want it to.Check out the comparison pic to my Mini-Z Sauber-Mercedes.Though not as refined as the Mini-Z (Mini-Z is smoother, and just better overall hobby-grade quality), this WLToys car is a bit quicker. For the price and for its performance, this WLToys car is a bargain. My only gripe so far is the tiny body clip pins. They are cumbersome in my large fingers. That’s being picky, though. The transmitter feels good in your hand. It’s not the best looking transmitter, but it works perfectly fine.I’m very happy with my purchase.

Fun little rally car.
The media could not be loaded. Fast, fun little car. Easy to maintain, handles well. The radio leaves a lot to be desired. The first half of the trigger pull is deadband and I don't know how to recalibrate it. Otherwise it's perfect.

Fun cheap near-hobby grade RC
Bought a Kyosho Mini-Z for my son, and added one of these WLtoys so I could drive with him as it's about the same size. So good comparison. It's our first and only 1/28th products, and as an old school 1980s RC person the modern stuff is just mind blowing across the board. Speed, durability, runs times are so far beyond what I had it's bananas. The WLtoys came out of the box with pretty significant driveline bind, I'm just running packs through and it's loosening up over time. Doing the battery stuff is fiddly - need to remove the body to do so. But it's fast, runs well, and so far is pretty durable. The radio is fine, the mislabeled dual rate knob to limit the speed makes it great to adjust before handing off to even a new driver without worry. I also like that it's a popular enough chassis that parts are abundant and even mods if you want to get into that. The Mini Z is clearly a higher quality piece that drives much smoother / bigger. And the hard body is display model nice. Whether that's worth 2x+ the price is really up to the use case. Both cars seem very much worth it, we're having a blast.

This thing RIPS!
Right out of the box this thing is a blast. This is the "updated" version of the wltoys k989. Slightly better quality, but doesn't have the ability to adjust the wheelbase. Almost all the stuff for the k989 will interchange. This is a highly upgradeable little car with tons of upgrade parts out there. I definitely recommend getting the pack with the batteries because you'll have a blast just ripping around the house or office with it.
