I've heard a lot of people say that this is like clear tape and while I agree partially I think that it is more like clear tape with gorilla glue on the back. And the reason I say that is because I put it on my wall to protect the surface behind my cat food. I rent and I wanted to be able to wipe down the surface easily without taking the paint off of the wall. In renter's apartments often times they use flat paint which is really difficult to clean without wearing down the paint. So I figured this would be a good option so that I could wipe the area down without ruining the pain. When I tried to apply it, it was impossible to apply and when I went to remove one corner of it so that I could get the bubbles out, it took the paint right off the wall. I absolutely am going to lose my security deposit when I go to remove the entire thing when I leave. I am flabbergasted. When you look at the pictures above it shows that if you put it on a door that when you go to peel it off that it comes off in perfect condition without damaging the door. That is absolutely unequivocally not true. Very deceiving. This product should have a warning letting everybody know that it is not removable without damaging the door or the wall or the furniture underneath of it. In fact, this product should not even be sold other than to sell it as a tape to ship important items. I will be sending this back because I'm still within my 30 days with this note attached.

We have a houseful of foster kittens. Although we have seven scratching posts and pads, they kept targeting our poor nice loveseat. I should have ordered this a month ago, when the naughty behavior first began. It's a thick vinyl material, sticky on one side and shiny on the other. Very easy to measure and place, sticky side toward the upholstery, with reinforcing twist pins. MAKE SURE YOUR SOFA IS SAFE FOR THIS - NO REAL OR FAKE LEATHER OR VELVET. The kittens have not TOUCHED our loveseat since we applied this product. Note that this roll covered the problem spots on a loveseat (sides, corners, and in front below the cushions). If you have a full size sofa you'll need more.

This stuff works very well, although it is not very easy to put on because it doesn't cut very well, it has stayed on my door for over 2 months now with my big dogs scratching it but it does not look very cute!

Its a very sticky material, to the point where you cannot remove it unless you have a steamer and razor. Also while it's applied to something once the dog scratches it all you see is scratch marks. It looks hideous. But if you're looking for something extremely durable this is your product I guess.
