Love GROHE quality
It’s as they say, you get what you pay for and GROHE you pay for what you get, never disappointed.Look and feel for the shower wand, it has a good solid feel, it’s a sturdy durable plastic with a nice finish. The spray head can be wiped over to dissipate any hard water limescale.Adjustable setting to allow for different water spray patterns

High pressure when needed, wider coverage and standard shower when not
Works as expected, perfectly fits with GROHE 28388000 silver flex hose, and the 4 settings are as follows:Rain O2 - adds some airflow to the water, giving it a marginally higher pressure, from all small nozzles. This is my default useRain - almost a standard shower head output, as above just without the added airflowJet - highest pressure, just out of the 4 central nozzles though so very direct and the smallest coverage. Handy for cleaning the bath, or when you want a quick shower eg. from a runMassage - more of a wider dispersal than above but much lower pressure, personally I think this one is superfluous. For reference I have a combi-boiler and a perfectly high pressure feed, and this is attached to a Grohe shower/bath mixer tap.

Competent quality unit at a price.
Good quality components, if rather light weight plastic materials. I went for the 620 mm rail (metal) and this all fitted quite easily .. the supplied rawl plugs and screws are large diameter (8mm drill) and very long so I was nervous drilling through the tiles but all was fine. The water pipe is dark grey plastic which looks good and easy to clean .. maybe a little over long for the 620 rail.. shower head is again good quality .. the different spray patterns are ok but not spectacular, changing pattern is simply achieved by rotating the outer silicone ring, fine when dry but not so easy when soapy .. the head is fairly large diameter and we noticed that the water velocity dropped compared to our previous smaller unit, still quite acceptable but we have a large combi boiler so could imagine a smaller flow system lacking in shower power. All in all very competent and fitted together flawlessly, but a relatively high price and average shower experience. Hopefully it will perform for years and justify the price difference to our previous unit.

Cheap hose
I bought this for my ensuite shower and decided to splash out on the 4 jets version. I am really please with the shower head and Rail but what lets it down is the supplied hose which is like 1.5 meters of garden hose sprayed grey which has poor flexibility and does not sit where you want it to. I ended up buying another Hans Grohe 1.2m chromed effect hose which is much much better but cost me a further £22 - shame on you Hans Grohe !!

Excellent shower both in holder and hand-held
Consistent and even flow through all the holes; easy rub clean (no limescale after 2 months use); connects perfectly to Grohe hose; classic shape means it's easy & comfortable to hold; easy to wipe and bring back the shine; quite noisy in "O2" mode, indicating air being added to water droplets, but gives a very pleasant showering sensation (my son prefers the quieter "rain" mode); rarely use the pulse jet - not very forceful but it works. All above apply to a 2 bar pumped supply through a budget thermostatic bar mixer valve.

Fantastic quality, great value
tried many handheld showers and the problem with the cheap ones is that they all fall apart eventually, or the silicone nibs get crumbly and harder to clean over time. This one is super easy. as always, german quality from grohe that you can trust, the 3 options are all i need really, easy to adjust by turning the ring on the shower head. It feels well made and sturdy and surely will last many years as all my grohe showers in the past. Especially these days its so important to use ressources responsible and buy something that lasts. Yes, you do pay a bit more, but you won`t have to take the chance to guess if it will arrive broken or break after a few months. If you search for a good quality handheld, choose this one.

Very disappointing performance
Despite being identical to the earlier Tempesta 100 shower, it is a very different unit in terms of design and in terms of performance. The flow rate on this model is very poor even when the flow restrictor is removed. This is the case on all spray patterns. There is very little difference between the "Rain" spray and the "Rain O2" spray whereas with the previous model there was a noticeable difference. Neither spray provides for a good quality shower in my opinion - the flow rate is just not good enough in my opinion. When selecting a different spray pattern, the whole of the inner head moves with this model. On the previous model only the outer ring moved. I mention this to state that the two models have a very different design.I'm not a great fan of Grohe and this shower doesn't inspire my confidence in terms of the cost and value for money. I bought this mainly to replace a worn head without having to change the Grohe shower riser. That's the other problem: there seems to be no way to remove the spray head from the shower head casing in order to clean and to descale it.I would not recommend this shower head. In terms of value for money and in terms of performance it fails to deliver. Removing the flow restrictor - which was a challenge even with long nose pliers - made surprisingly little difference to the end flow result.
