I have a BIG cat 16lbs. Works fine for him

Q: Is it 15" wide at the bottom (as shown) or where the top meets the bottom (which looks wider)? I can't go past 15" wide total.

the widest part across the middle is 15 inches exactly. the bottom is 12.625 inches i hope this is helpful.
