VERY nice lens!
I am very happy with this! Zoom from 7mm to 21mm and not having to change lenses when objects in the night sky are in view... Perfect! Priced very reasonably! Made extremely well!

A great versatile eyepiece.
This is a fine eyepiece especially when you're with the general public in the field. When you need to find an object, center it, then zoom in, it's perfect especially with planetary objects like the moon. You don't need to swap out eyepieces in the dark. This eyepiece matches the best zoom eyepiece that Orion Telescopes sold before they went out of business for 1/2 the price. Good clear views at all powers and great eye relief. A great buy!

As others noted, there is a tiny flaw in this great value
When I was looking at reviews I had seen other reviewers noting little imperfections (possibly dirt?) in the optics of these, so I looked for it straight off when I received mine, and sure enough it has a small black speck on the inside of one of the lenses. I would not have noticed it if I had not been looking for it, and I decided after trying it out that it affected my viewing pleasure insignificantly at this price point. If this was a $100 or up optic as all the other comparable zooms are I would not have tolerated it, but I am so happy with the overall build and performance of the zoom I decided not to worry about it. In normal use I don't even notice the speck, it takes intentionally looking for it for me to notice. I guess they need a cleaner work space or better air filtration or something where they assemble these, but I found nothing comparable at a comparable price anywhere (and I looked a lot) so I still recommend, though I also recommend a close inspection on arrival and actually using it to see if any imperfections affect your viewing experience. I use mine with a Meade StarPro AZ 70 f/10 for a 33x to 100x zoom range and it performs great throughout the range. If anyone is just getting started, looking for a great terrestrial viewer with an easy entry into planetary and moon viewing I am thrilled with the combination (I spent $200 combined - if you have a higher budget you might consider the larger StarPro 80, 90 or 102). Anyway, I love what I ended up with on a $200 budget and this zoom lens being priced so well has really lead to an even better overall experience than I expected on my limited budget. It's really simple to use and a lot of fun.

One of my go to lenses
Fantastic Value – Versatile and Clear Views!I am very impressed with the SVBONY SV135 eyepiece. For the price, it’s an absolute gem. The zoom range from 7–21 mm makes it incredibly convenient—I can switch magnifications without fumbling with multiple eyepieces in the dark. The zoom action is smooth, and the build quality feels solid and reliable.Optically, the views are sharp and clear. The Moon looks crisp, Jupiter’s bands are visible, and I was even able to catch details in the Orion Nebula. The eye relief is comfortable, and it works well with or without glasses.Of course, the field of view is narrower at the low end (21 mm), but it opens up nicely as you zoom in. For me, that’s a small trade-off considering the convenience and performance it delivers.Overall, this eyepiece has quickly become one of my favorites in my kit. Whether you’re a beginner or just want a versatile grab-and-go eyepiece, the SV135 is hard to beat. Highly recommended!

Exceptional value and performance
This is a really great eyepiece despite its comparatively low price...makes me question the value of my $400 eyepieces, especially when you combine it with a 2x Barlow companion.I recommend using this eyepiece for quick observations, when touring the night sky with guests, or for use at public star parties. It's also an effective gift for friends and family who are just getting into the astronomy hobby.

This won't be the last eyepiece you buy, but it should be the first!
To be fair, I don't have any experience with other Zoom eyepieces, but this SV135 model from SVBONY works very well. The title to this review is because you get 5 different focal lengths from 7mm to 21mm, and you can figure out what works best for you before you spend more money on individual eyepieces.Solid weight so it doesn't feel cheap, and very smooth movement when you twist to zoom.It comes with two rubber dust caps that fit nice and snug without being difficult to remove.Views through the eyepiece are sharp and clear, the only downside is you will need to adjust your telescope focuser slightly. There is also some reduction in field of view (i.e. how much of your target will fit in the eyepiece), but that isn't an issue.I have a few different products from SVBONY, and I am always impressed with their quality. If you are on a smaller budget, I highly recommend this zoom eyepiece.

Great Value if you're looking for a zoom
Any consideration of an eyepiece has to bring into account the price. With that understanding this is a very good value in my opinion. The eyepiece feels quality, Zoom is very smooth, very little refocusing, overall I think it's a very good value.
