The guy tried to programme it and it didn't work, so he tried it again and it worked and it's worked fine since.

Works perfect
So I bought this key and had a genuine ford key to code into a 2012 focus estate diesel.The genuine wouldn't work, but this one did!I was told this wouldn't work as it was 40bit and my original fobs were 80bit. But it works absolutely fine.For those unsure yes this does need to be coded by ford or someone with the equipment.
