Q: Are these specific transparent bags the high capacity please ones with the 6cm gussett ?

No, there is no gusset. These are straight rectangles of clear soft plastic. They are high capacity in the sense that they are larger than A4 size so it is possible to put in say, an inch thick pile of A4 paper. They can hold 10 OS folded maps (so a thickness of about 5 inches) and the zip still closes the bag securely. I have tried using popper folders with a small gusset but these just seem to crack round the hard edges so I much prefer these Snopake bags.

Q: Has anyone bought these for children to keep whiteboards in at school? Will the zips put up with daily use?

I think that these folders are not strong enough for children. Zipper bags are made of stronger plastic and a much better zip.

Q: are they self-adhesive, and if not, whats the best way to stick one to a cardboard postage box?

No they are made of clear strong plastic with a strong seal, it would have to be secured down by 'duc Tape' or similar

Q: Is the plastic material fairly stiff or quite floppy?

The material is 'floppy' rather than stiff.
