This drain has a very nice appearance once installed BUT your drain pipe must be perfectly perpendicular to the floor of your shower or it will not be flat. The SS will not bend. The removable strainer basket is nice but is difficult to clean do to the bar across the top to assist in the removal.

I really like the look of this in our newly remodeled shower. I can’t speak to ease of install as we had our contractor install it. However the use is not easy once it is installed. The drain comes with a little hook to pull the drain off which is nice and I’ll be keeping in the shower. Only time will tell if the wet metal hook will leave rust stains. The basket that catches the hair is stupid. The bar that runs across the top makes it difficult to clean. So I instead removed the basket and placed one of the “shower shrooms” and placed it inside and then put the lid back on. It works soo much better! Again, only time will tell if the metal cover and insides rust, but for now it really looks great. We purchased the 6” size and it fits the “shower shroom” perfectly.

Love this over-sized drain cover in our new shower- it is good looking and very practical. Like that you can open it up to clean and remove hair. Elevates the shower flooor-looks so much more finished that with a normal drain cover. Was 1/2 the price of one we saw at Home Depot that was very similar. Heavy , good quality - happy with this purchase

This is a great drain pan. Thick and well made. Dont spend hundreds of dollars on a shower drain, the 6" version looks straight custom and works great. The removable internal strainer basket is a win and gets a real work out when my kid make potions in the shower. 2023 update: The 6" stainless neodrain has held up to two years of daily use with no issues. Its just a great valve!

We bought this for our master bath remodel. Since it hasn’t been installed yet, I can’t honestly review how well it functions. However, I can honestly say that the quality of this drain in excellent! It looks great, & the weight is substantial. The debris basket is the real reason we purchased this drain, because we love the one we have in our kitchen sink. I have no doubt that we will love this drain when we get it installed.

I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to say that I'm really happy with both the drain and more importantly the customer service. Both my wife and I like the drain. It is easy to clean and drains well.We wanted to make sure we had another grate in case we ever needed to replace in the future. The vendor was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend in the future.
