Amazing Little Sander!
This sander totally impressed me. I was looking for something quieter than our air-powered sander, and this one delivered. The brushless motor runs smooth and quiet, which makes a big difference in the shop. It’s powerful, low-vibration, and super easy to control. The grip is comfortable, even during longer sanding sessions, and it feels solid in hand. Great for sanding, polishing, and especially DIY prep before paint projects. For the price, it’s a fantastic value, compact, efficient, and way less noise. Definitely a great addition to any tool kit!

Despite its horrific issue
This is an excellent sander once the underlying horrific issue is addressed and fixed. I had to take the sanding wheel off with the provided tool and reglue the flimsy paper thin plastic backing plate back onto the sander once it flew off and was crumpled between the sanding disc wheel and the sander. The first time this happened the poor paper thin backing plate that seals up the well ventilated sanding disc, the plastic was chewed up too much and although I told Amazon about this dysfunctional defect, they sent out another unit where the glue that holds the sanding disc backing plate was apparently old or otherwise insufficient and did not hold the plastic back on.But the second time I was ready and after 10 or 15 minutes of sanding when the same issue occurred and it threw off the plastic paper back from the wheel, I was able to stop before too much damage occurred and I glued it back on with some quick drying Titebond glue.Since then, this sander has been a real pleasure to use and is much better and more efficient to use then any of my 5 inch random orbital sanders. The large 6 inch disc is much bigger and when using the net style sanding discs the work surface is so much more clean, finished and pretty at the end of each stage of grit used.As long as you don’t mind fixing this horrid flaw that shouldn’t exist, this is a fine and awesome professional random orbital sander at less than a third the price of a Mirka, 3M, or Festool, and your work (as well as the finished product) will improve just as much.Despite the hassle, this variable speed 6 inch 5 mm random orbital sander does great work once fixed.

Not worth it it's cheap and mine is in the trash after 3 months of use
Got this last year but only used it for maybe a total of three months. Last when I used it, it's center of gravity was gone. I tried to tighten anything that maybe loose and it became very hard to handle, would not spin on the highest setting so I threw it out. Save your money buy a belt sander (corded) and a good 6 inch orbital sander Dewalt, Bosch, Milwaukee, to get a good finish. This thing is crap, I knew it would be, but I gave it a try anyway.

Woodworking finisher approved!!!
I manage the finishing department for a large commercial cabinet shop and have all the latest and greatest air sanders out there. At home my 30gal compressor is no where close to running a sander. I've always dreaded wrapping my hand around any of my electric sanders and refused to give my money over the the f-tool or M-ka for one of there e-sanders. I saw this for $190-$30=$160 and felt like gambling...lolInitial impression after 1 day: Worth every dollar, smooth, quiet, VERY comfortable, great dust collection, plenty of power. The hose that comes with it is too small and my vac wanted to collapse it, replaced with another I had and worked perfectly. Build quality exceeded my expectations. If your a gambler then buy it, period. If not, understand the following: It's a mass (cheaply) produced product with multiple different names. No product support and no parts availability. Internal parts are mostly plastic. If it breaks its trash, unless you have a 3D printer and an understanding of electronics.Summary: I knew all of the above before I purchased it and would buy it again. And if they come out with a lower profile 5" sander, I will buy that also.

Could be great
I'm disappointed in this sander. The good: low profile, manageable vibration, decent cord length, good ergos. The bad: dust extraction is non-existent, dust port too close to body for good hose attachment. This sander could be much better if they fixed the dust extraction. I read other reviews about this problem but thought I could deal with it. Ive been sanding above my head and I have to fully suit up including goggles and respirator and I'm still filthy. If I knew it would be this bad I would have passed.

Great product for a good price
Wasn't about to spend $800 for the name brand especially when reviews were mixed on reliability. This is very similar and works great. I've only had it for a few days. It really takes the material off and is easy on the hands. Not as much vibration as my other orbital sanders.

Super quiet and works great
I never write reviews but I wanted to write one for this. I do a lot of body work and now I am doing body work in my garage and not my shop. I always had an issue using my DA with the air compressor because my 60 gallon would run non stop and is loud. Wasn’t an issue at my shop, but when I’m sanding at midnight, my wife wakes up and so does my daughter. I bought this to reduce noise and wow, world of a difference. I hooked it up the vacuum the other day and yes, it doesn’t suck up all the filler dust but it does stop if from spreading airborne. You will never stop bondo dust from spreading but the fact I didn’t need a mask and it kept it from going airborne was remarkable. I use a battery powered Makita vacuum and works great. The only downfall I saw is that you have to by the slotted discs which isn’t a big deal but I just bought non slotted a month before lol. But I highly recommend.
