First time buying cradled panels, the pack I got were all great. A minority of reviewers had issues with damage / quality control, but I decided that at this price it was worth a punt, I will buy again. hope they do bigger ones!

I purchased these twice. The first time I was quite impressed so I ordered again. When I received the second order I was disappointed. The quality was lacking, with two of them being damaged beyond use. The wood was peeling off the top and they were buckled. Unfortunately I had a project that was time sensitive and could not wait to reorder or return so I used the ones I could. I will not purchase again.

Very good quality.

I do encaustic work which means pouring molten wax on these, blasting with a heat gun, scrape, heat, repeat. I put them them through a lot and so far they have held up well. The wood is very lightweight and I was worried that these would be fragile, but even with all the abuse I subject them to, they haven't separated or warped. I'm using the 6 x 6 size, can't vouch for larger sizes.

Inconsistent veneer quality on these boards could be an issue for those who simply want a wood surface finish, but I have found that applying a bit of base to the board with gesso or acrylic medium takes out the flaws and saw lines. I use these often and have never had one so damaged I had to return them. Seem to be durable in spite of the light weight.
