Simple, Effective, Affordable
Does what it's supposed to! Haven't had a need for the second scraper, but this has helped make sure our chocolate comes out objectively smooth.

Channel not polished—But seller provided an excellent solution
The channel where the product is scraped is not polished but has visible roughness that will cause the instrument to give false readings. It may be useful for food products, but not paint!After submitting the review above, the seller contacted us and offered a solution that was acceptable and we are pleased with the service and responsiveness of the seller. This product gives false readings and is no where near as accurate as it should
Basically the scrappers all have nicks in them, the plate also has a very rough edge and likes to trap pigment in it easily, it even gave a false reading of a dye as 70 microns, which as a dye isnt possible due to it you know... being smaller than a water molecule.Its not a a legit tool

Nothing else like it!
It works great! Solid. Never had it calibrated. Not sure if it can be calibrated. It would be nice to have a standard or set of standard pastes to run through to serve as a calibration and teaching tool.
