I just tried mine out today when I got it and I think it works pretty good I used to have a towel down on my mat to protect my spine but this is what I needed I should have bought one of these a long time ago, it works great helps me do my setups without injuring my spine, it's a good product if you do sit ups and seems to be of good quality, I did triple the amount of setups today with it and I will be wanting to do sit-ups more now

This is a nice thick & soft padding that protects your tailbone. I also use it to stretch my lower back. It works great & I have had it for 5 years. Quality:It is good quality. No tears or fraying. Foldability:It folds nicely & does not fall open while stored.

Nice ab mat. Slightly firm but I like it that. I’m am sure it will soften up over time and use.

I got it for myself as I have a hard time laying down flat on my back for workouts but it was to uncomfortable for me. I’m 5’ 1”. My husband tho loves it to help him with the bench press and he’s 5’ 7”. He’s super comfy using it. The design and quality of the material feels really nice and sturdy like it’ll last for a while. It’s really easy to use and great for the money.

I couldn’t do any ab/oblique exercises on my back or sides (I also broke my right hip a long time ago and that side is very painful to lay on) even when I stack two yoga mats. My back felt like just my spine on a hard floor. The first time I used this the only pain that crossed my mind was the good kind of muscles working. My back didn’t even cross my mind. Like some reviews said, it is kind of narrow so I don’t know how a man with a broad back would like it but for me (5’3, 130 lb. Pretty average build for height) it’s perfect. It doesn’t take up any room to store, just fold it and prop it against the wall. I recommend it.

I had high hopes for this but this did not give much in support for my tailbone. The arch actually made my back hurt. I guess I need more padding ( in the mat and also in my tailbone area )for this to work for me.
