It performs great for the price point. There's nothing fancy about it, but it gets to work. It reached boiling fairly quick. I've seen others that have the temperature gauge that you can dial into, this does not have that. If you're looking for something that specific this is not it. But if you're looking for something basic that works quickly and efficiently, this is definitely a great bargain.
