Leave Me Alone, Gang Stalkers
Works perfect for those who feel they're being harassed and intimidated by strangers in public. Whenever I feel threatened, I put on my headphones, listen to my music and turn this on. They immediately stop messing with me and start going crazy after a few minutes.Just perfect.

Small
I didn't realize it was so small! It seems to be effective if in very close vicinity. I'm not yet sure if I'll keep it. I wanted to use it in a larger area. Maybe it will work better with a microphone and amp

Piece of junk
I should have read the reviews. Does not work as described. I will not return because it's too much trouble. Do not buy, you will not be happy. I only get nauseated at thinking this might work.

Shomer-Tec Sonic Disruption Device is an effective Anti-Loitering Device
Essentially, this device is very similar to the Mosquito anti-loitering device. The essential difference is that the Mosquito has a ton of features including multiple frequency outputs to affect only young peoples ears, AND the ears of older folks as well. The Shomer-Tec can be heard by anyone, but more so by younger ears. It emits a steady state high frequency tone that is VERY displeasing and to some, excruciating. It has a limited effective range of about 10 feet. At 10 feet or less, this thing is VERY annoying! It has a fairly narrow effective sound concentration area. At 10 feet, it will effectively cover about 15 feet in width. It will drive most people out of the area after a lot of complaining. Ambient noise will interfere with the effectiveness of this device as will physical obstructions (Trees, foliage, etc). I can imagine that anyone who says this thing does not work must have a defective unit, because a working unit is VERY effective all be it very limited in its usable coverage distance and width. If you are in an enclosed area, or right on top of whatever you are trying to get the attention of, it is absolutely BRUTAL! It does not seem to bother dogs or other animals.
