No. The link connection is different.

Do these tracks connect to Melissa & Doug tracks?

No. The Fisher Price Thomas Wood connectors are proprietary, and different than all the other wooden railway on the market, including the former Thomas Wooden Railway brand. All the other wooden railway brands do interconnect, but not Thomas Wood, sad to say. There are adapters available to connect a Thomas Wood set or accessories to the other brands, 2 in a pack included in most Thomas Wood track packs and accessories. The radius of the curves tracks are different, as well. If you want to add on and explore building and creating with the track, any of the other brands offer better play value with more creative building capabilities. Yet, you can still use Thomas Wood Trains just fine on them. I particularly recommend brands such as Hape and Brio for the track. Melissa and Doug have limited offerings, but also work extremely well, just not with the Thomas Wood system. Important non-generic Thomas Wood accessories such as Cranky the Crane and Tidmouth sheds each come with adaptors to connect in, so you can still work those in to the traditional wooden tracks From other manufacturers. Be wary of the cheap off brand knock-offs and you will be fine. Many have inferior manufacturing or materials and break easily. They are not significantly cheaper than the good brands anyway, so best to go for quality, if you can. If you have more questions or need more help, feel free to give us a call or visit us. Do these work with trackmaster trains?

NO they do not. The wheels do fit the tracks but he drives off the track once he gets to a curve. The train masters are too big for this; you will need the wooden trains to fit.

Best Gift for Train Loving Child

My now 6 year old started becoming obsessed with Thomas the Tank engine and playing with wooden train sets. Got this for his birthday and he LOVED it. Construction is good quality overall, I can tell it apart from off brands and it will probably last for many many years.Putting the tracks together was simple and easy. Everything fit together as expected.The only minor problem that we ran into was these tracks not working with other off brand tracks. The male connection is slightly thicker than the female connection on the off brands, we can force it to fit if we wanted too but it’s just a hassle. Not a big issue to us, but just something for others to be aware of.Would definitely purchase again for any child who wants a starter train set!

Great value and enjoyable toy

This toy was loved by my great nephew. It is very sturdy. He plays with it a lot. There are lots of other pieces that can be purchased to grow the set. It will be played with for a long time.
