Q: Would this be good enough for using only a keyboard and mouse on it? I have a computer screen at a distance and want to use this with a chair.

Adding this for others that might be wondering the same... it's actually a little too narrow for a full size keyboard & mouse. I can almost make it work, but the keyboard has to hang over one edge a bit and my mousepad, turned to "portrait" orientation, still ends up hanging over the other by at least 1/2 inch. If you're using a compact keyboard, like a TKL (TenKeyLess) or smaller, you should have enough space to comfortably be able to use the mouse. I'll probably end up making a replacement top rather than go through the Hassel of disassembling and returning it, but unless you're willing to tinker, you'd be better off paying a bit more for something wide enough to start with that's hopefully also a little better quality.

Q: Need to fit under couch. How high is the wheels to the bar they are attached to?

Fit under the couch, wheels are about 2.5in, I love it

Q: What is the height from the floor to the top surface when flat & at the lowest height possible?

As I see it, the lowest possible position is 21" w/ no casters. Casters add 1.5"

Q: can you turn the top table left or right if it doesn't fit under the chair or bed?

Yes you can do that but if you will turn upper desk left and wheels will be direct right it's gonna loose balance.
