I’ve been buying mealworms for my birds for a while now, and this is probably my 5th or 6th purchase. I got a batch of 1000 mealworms this time, and I’m quite happy with the quality.The worms were fresh and active, which is always a good sign. There were barely any dead ones in the batch, and they didn’t have that unpleasant smell you sometimes get if they’ve been poorly stored. My birds, especially my bulbul chicks, absolutely love them. I’ve noticed they get really excited during feeding time, and it’s nice to see them enjoying something so much.The packaging was secure, and there wasn’t any mess when I opened it. That said, I think a resealable bag would’ve been better since I had to transfer the worms into another container to keep them fresh longer. For 1000 mealworms, the quantity feels just right for the price, and it’s enough to last me a while since I don’t overfeed.One thing I really like about feeding mealworms is that they’re such a good source of protein. My birds seem healthier and more active, and I’ve noticed improvements in their feathers too. The media could not be loaded. Was apprehensive on the delivery of the meal food via on-line but for my surprise Product was excellently packed with fresh live worms. My pets (turtles) enjoy very much and grasp the worms in flash.Worms looks healthy and its been 3 days since the product delivered and Mealworms are moving around actively in the well packed box.More importantly no maintenance is required to take care of the Mealworms as box has sufficient space and food for the worms with ventilation wherein box has small porous for air pass.Overall the box does not look clumsy and very easy to pick the worms and feed the pets.Glad my experience was not disappointing and very much satisfied as this was my first online order for my pet and Promeal delivered high quality product.

The worms size was very small and more than 20 worms died and total count was definitely not 250 and mostly there were worm skin everywhere and little worm. I wouldn't say it is worth the money.

They arrived healthy (except a few). I used em for a project, and got to know a few stuff I wish I knew earlier...Like, they need a "moist" environment to hydrate. And a DROP of water can drown them—Use Super Worms instead if u want me to SURVIVE and experiment.Superworms for experiment and mealworms for pets.
