No. After 15 - 20 mins they will be room temperature and you will need to freeze them again for a few hours. Friction of gliding it and your body heat will warm it faster than you expect

What material is the white handle made of? Is it plastic? Durable?

The globes are made of high quality stainless steel. The white part is made of foam and sponge and it can be slipped on or off. It is very strong and durable.

What is the difference between the stainless steel globes and the glass globes? Do they both work for headaches?

I’ve broken 2 glass ice globes so metal seems to be the better option

Do you need to use lotion or oil to provide slip for the products if using on the face?

No not necessary to apply any product for use globs, but it's so cool to use it over the mask.
