Great mp3 for storing music on.
Works great and my daughter is able to store tons of music on it.

Unbelievably Poor Choice
We got this for a daughter for her birthday...her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw it. What a great present it was! Or so we thought. Not only does it have ZERO memory and will not work unless you have an expansion card, but the card that is SHOWN in the images above (a typical SD card), isn't the one that actually works. We know because we tried to use it. Nope. Damn near ruined the card we tried to use.Why use an image of an SD card that does not work? On top of that, the circular navigation on front is just absurdly designed. You don't press the center to "select" something...that took a while to figure out. The instructions are virtually worthless and it uses a charging cord that was typical...circa 2000. Not even a micro USB cord, it was the thicker kind that was in use before that.Lesson learned. Try to save money and you'll regret it. Just bite the bullet and buy one that has good reviews and actually comes with built-in memory. Or, one that actually uses a real normal SD card and not something that was so out of date that unless you look for one off eBay you'll never find it new.In short: AVOID THIS mp3 player at ALL COSTS. An utterly enormous waste of money.

Great little player (once I figured out how to use it)
Only had for about a week now.....got for my daughter to listen to music on the way to school. Works great. Just had some trouble figuring out how to get music on it! (Now granted, I'm not good with technology!) It definitely requires an SD card before you can put music onto it. Then u can download music off your computer and onto the device. Easy to use and the battery life is good!

GREAT! But with 3 conditions.
Actually great... for $20.First: Throw away the cheap earphones. They will make you think the player is bad, but it's the cheap earphones. Buy better earphones.Second: The interface is hard because the side arrows makes it scroll up & down, and the volumn button is also the "back" button. confusing. You'll learn.Third: The micro memory card, sold separately, may take many times of trying to get to format. It will eventually work.Other than those three things, IT'S GREAT!

great for cheap
once you figure out how to use it(which is pretty easy, or was for me at least) its a great mp3 player for cheap. theres a radio and the battery at least for me is not the best but it charges fast and it can store a bunch of music if you get a decent micro sd card( i got an amazon basics one and it stores lots of music, 400+ specifically lol). i have a lenovo thinkpad and it had a little port to put the sd in it. if you put the micro in the big sd that comes with it, it can go in the port and itll make a drive on your computer and you can get a spotify to mp3 file or YouTube to mp3 file website and you that to get the music. you need to drag the music onto the drive but you cant have folders, you need to make them on the mp3 player which is a bit tedious because you have to do them one by one but itll be easier to organize the music, you need to hold down the sound button to use it or else itll be a back button. the sound is clear so long as the mp3 file is downloaded properly and my mp3 players screen came wonky but i pushed it back in and its like new, so it seems durable. once you get used to the controls is really easy to use, i took like a couple minutes to figure out how to use it. you can also google how to use certain parts or get a YouTube tutorial, its pretty light and i forgot i had it a couple times. get a good pair of headphones, the ones it came with dont look durable, the mp3 is good though.

Extremely cheap, poor quality and frustrating to use.
Horrible product. Incredibly cheap for a reason. I wanted an MP3 player my daughters could knock around and I not feel too bad about the loss. The interface is illogical, frustrating and completely unworkable. You get what you pay for. The ear buds were extremely poor quality, bordering on dangerous as they dismantled themselves as soon as they came out of the box.

all options not functional, buttons are backwards, poor quality
I wouldn't waste your money. It will play music with an SD card, the buttons are backwards, the volume button doesn't work, the menu options for music, videos etc are useless as you have to open the folder icon to play what's been downloaded to the folder. The device is flimsy plastic. I ordered 2, one for each of my school kids, both devices have the same "issues". I'm not sure these will last a long time and I'd have skipped buying all together had I realized I needed to spend more money on micro SD cards that inevitably up the total cost. I gave it 2 stars because it does play the music. I wasn't expecting iPod quality, but I did have exceptions in the matter of function. Not being able to control volume on a device made to play music is insane. Spend a little more, and buy something else.
