This is a good whetstone. I like that it's double sided with a course side and a fine side. It sharpens my knives well. The angle guide is handy for beginners.

My husband really likes the quality of the Stone and the sturdiness of the base. The base also stays put while sharpening his knives, which is really nice. He felt the angle guide is awkward to use though. He would recommend this sharpening tool.

Works as advertised

It’s a great size, the base it came with does an excellent job at keeping the stone in place. Plus the guide assist I come with is pretty handy since i can’t use one of hands due to it being injured.

I didn’t expect much, it’s a simple product but they’ve actually gone above and beyond with this one. The rubber protector makes the whetstone stick to the counter amazingly and I’ve not even had to worry about getting hurt. As it’s basically a two sided rock it’s really on the user to get the knife sharp but with the angle guide even an amateur like myself can get a really sharp edge. All in all for the price it’s impressively well made.

I'm not a knife sharpening wiz, but i youtubed how to sharpen knives. This stone works for what I intended, to sharpen my knives. All my knives are sharp now, good product.

Meh. I bought this looking for a lower priced stone than a Norton. I was absolutely successful in that endeavor. The quality howeverr, is lacking.I don't expect the rougher grit to last long at all. The stone lost more of itself than it seemed to cut from the blade I was sharpening and left a pretty good sized valley in the center of the stone.The size is CONSIDERABLY smaller than desired for sharpening knives and is not even close to a Norton.I will not buy this agin.
