Have always loved these pens
I have always loved these pens. Unlike all the crappie pens my wife has lying around, they never fail to write immediately and smoothly.

My favorite pens
I get free pens all the time from work or as promotional give-aways. But they usually suck. These pens are reliable, have good consistent ink quality, and last a long time. I'd rather pay for these than suffer through the freebies.

Great pens for Bullet Journaling, general note taking, and doodling!
I began using a Leuchtturn1917 Bullet Journal Black as a Bullet Journal. First, I purchased Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens 6 Color in Case, 0.3mm, Metal Clad Tip, Assorted but found them too much to bring along to meetings all over the campus where I work. I decided I needed a single, black, and retractable pen I could slip in a pocket and have with me at all times. The colored Staedtler pens were a fine point that worked well with Journaling so I added that to my list of requirements. I found one of the Pilot Precise V5 RT pens and decided to give it a try. I was delighted with the way it felt and the quality of the line it made on a page. My problem now was having one of the pens always available as I have a tendency to put one down or leave it at work or home. My solution was to buy six more in a pack! I've been very happy with the pens and expect to be using them for a long time. They are excellent for journaling because they use a very dark black ink that flows well and does not smear.

Sharp and precise!
These pens are my favorite. My penmanship looks (and feels) sharp. They don’t bleed from letter to letter like some do. Family members love them too, so I have to remind them to give them back! Lol

Love these Pens
The smoothest rolling pen you will ever use. You barley have to press on the paper and these produce a beautiful fine line. I will not buy any other pens, I am hooked on the ease to use, nice fine lines and easy to hold rubber grips. Buy them you will not regret it. I especially love that they are reusable. Just order the inside portion, swap it out and keep on writing. We will never have to hunt for a working pen again.

My new FAVORITE pen
I am a "small" writer. I always have been. Whether cursive, printing or otherwise my writing is very small and very precise. For this reason I've always favored fine-point pens, but on so many the miniscule roller balls clog with lint or debris or dried ink. These are truly amazing. I don't what kind of ink formulation Pilot came up with but it's always consistently smooth, never clogs, streaks, runs or bleeds. And it dries pretty fast as well. The fact that it's also retractable (no cap to lose) is only frosting on the cake.I'd give it 5 stars across the board, but only had one reservation; these are pricey for disposable pens, and if you don't write teeny-tiny the value proposition may be questionable for you. For this I knocked "value" down to four, but for fine writers like myself it's worth the money several times over.Well done Pilot!

From a Hardcore Pilot G2 Lover
I used Pilot G2s for years. All of my college notes were written with that pen, and I would buy them by the dozen. Fast forward, and I'm now a nurse who is CONSTANTLY writing and jotting things down. For whatever reason, the G2s just don't write as well on all the surfaces that I need to write on these days, and tend to skip when writing on things like laser-printed labels, so I made the switch to Pilot Precise V5 roller balls. They were fabulous, except that it was inconvenient to always have to uncap - I like a clicky pen. Enter the Pilot Precise V5 RT. It has all of the smoothness and color depth of the V5, but with the ease of a retractable. It's perfection! Almost.I find that these pens run out of ink inordinately fast. Case in point, I ran through a 6-pack in less than 3 months. That's 2 pens a month, whereas my G2s used to last me at least a month, writing probably 5 pages of notes per day, if not more. Even the V5s didn't run out of ink this quickly, so I'm at a loss as to where all of this ink is going.Even still, I'm back to purchase refills because I like them that much, although at about half the price, I may go back to the plain V5s and suck it up on having to uncap.
