The expected Dremel quality.
These brushes are really good for cleaning different types of jewelry and other items when you need to get down in there where q-tips and other things just can't go. I use these on Native American cuff bracelets at the moment, they often come with a buildup of lets call it grime, in the twisted rope and or other ornamentation. Also sometimes green buildup basically anything that shouldn't be there that the seller didn't bother to clean. I've found that as long as you stick to Dremel brand tools and accessories you will have the quality you're looking for. The bristles hold up just fine, I've worn them down over long time use but that has its advantages too in that you end up with a smaller diameter brush end that's stiff and won't spread out as it turns allowing me to get into really tight spaces but not have to worry about nearby stones. I'll use 'em until there's no point anymore but always like to have a few on hand in case it's a big job of cleaning I have to do. The cost doesn't bother me because what else is there besides the Dremel tool? You can do a lot of things with it that make many projects easier, where a power drill is just too big but using the hand held extension with a drill bit makes it an easy job in a tight limited amount of room space. I've used these brushes to clean the tracks of my model railroad layout as well. Many uses you will find for these but then I'm preaching to the Dremel choir who already know this. Stick with Dremel for quality you can rely on imo.

It's worth the extra money compare to alternaties.
worked well. it's as expected in terms of quality. It is made in USA and the value is good as some other imitation don't last as long. The bristle doesn't fly off like the ones made in China.

Much better quality than cheaper ones from PRC
I use these a lot to remove rust from screw threads and corners in my DIY work restoring sewing machines, appliances, furniture, and jewelry. I usually buy at Harbor Freight or Amazon, a pack of them. These are all made in PRC (Ch*na) as we know. Cheap but get destroyed in one use. For larger projects, I use an angle grinder but this works on tiny things well. It also polishes metal jewelry small parts.I find these Dremel ones are built stronger and are more robust. You can see more metal threads on it and it polishes faster and more aggressively not weak. Love that! Worth the cost.

Better than discount versions, still not great. So, seriously, wear eye protection!
Seriously, wear good eye protection! These OEM rotary wire brushes from Dremel are much better than the discount versions. This means the wires are harder and last longer, and are less likely to fly out during use. "Less likely" doesn't mean the wires won't fly out. It means fewer will fly out and not quite as quickly. The wires will, 100%, fly out sooner or later--sooner if the RPMs your tool are too high. (I keep it at half or less of full RPM. Full RPM is dangerous.) The wires after use can be extremely sharp. I have had them embed in my skin.If you need a very small wire brush, it's worth spending more for the OEM versions--and use eye protection.

Get the real thing. Genuine Dremel.
I've had a Dremel for over 20 years, and it's the most useful, and most used tool I own. Over the years have tried different grinding wheels, sanding drums, etc. and have found the cheapo bargain fittings to be very disappointing. Especially the wire brushes! The cheap ones tend to fall apart very quickly, shed nasty sharp wires at high speed into my clothing, and don't last long at all. So have gone back to original Dremel attachments. Yes, they are more expensive, but genuine Dremel attachments are more than worth it in the long run.

Use on lower speeds to extend their life
After purchasing so many cheaper brushes in the past I now just spend the little extra to get the higher quality Dremel accessories. When used at the slower speeds, which they recommend, the brush holds up for a long time and wires don't come loose. These carbon steel brushes are great for use on harder materials.
