Is the blade made out of high carbon steel or Chinese metal?

Good luck finding anything not made in China, especially for that price. It is stainless steel. since it's only a light duty tool it'll do the job. If you're in a fight w/ it, something has really gone wrong. It's what I expected so I have no kicks.

How thick is blade? 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm?

It is very close to an an eighth of an inch. I am long retired and never worked in an environment that used metric system. If you really need a more precise measurement, I could dig out a caliper or micrometer and get you a better number.

Is this Molle compatible?

No, but also kinda yes. I removed the included "paddle" attachment, and used thin cord to lace it in MOLLE between the cummerbund and another pouch(weakhand side of my plate carrier). I ground off the remaining nubs on the back side of the ABS sheath to get it a smidge thinner, but that shouldn't be necessary for most applications.

How do you convert the sheath to horizontal

G'day, can't do it w/ the belt clip. The clip is held on w/ two torx screws but the sheath doesn't have any horizontal mounting points. That's the bad news, now the good sorta. There are several slots on each side of the sheath that could be taped or wire tied to your gear. Best I can say. G L

Feels good

The media could not be loaded. Nice weight to it and the grip is very comfortable. It comes sharper than I expected. I’m not a huge fan of the sheath, its bulky and while I understand what they’re trying to do with it, I don’t think the shape gives it an advantage over other. Overall nice knife for the price, surprisingly good quality.

Too GI Joe for me

The knife itself is pretty good. However, the sheath is uncomfortable and is not pocket friendly. When wearing I may as well be wearing a Glock, it's just too Rambo. I'm happy with a Morakniv.
