Q: Once shelf is extended to desired length, is there any locking mechanism to keep it there? Does this hold or slide inwards easily if bumped over time?

No locking mechanism, but the shelf will not slide by itself. The shelf we designed is flexible and adjustable. What I'm curious about is why you want to bump or push it. It's a special concern. Q: I really want this, but in white. It looks like they were offered in white at some point. Is this no longer the case?

The white shelves are now out of stock, but they will be arrived to Amazon warehouse soon. Thank you for your attention, please wait a few more days, and I will push the freight forwarder. By the way, for the new coming white shelves, we have upgraded the finish from gloss white to satin. Satin is more scratch resistant and hides fingerprints better. Q: When pulled out to its full length, does the shelf remain level or does it sag at the joint?

It‘s not suggested to pull out to its full length, when you pull it out completely, it becomes two separate panels. We have drawn a line on B panel (bottom one), please do not expose that line when you pull out. If you extend too far and the line appears, the stability of the shelf will be weaker than what we have designed. By Urhomey Seller Team
