I own the blue swing, and I had one of the boxing bag ceiling mounts and chain mounted inside the house. It's rated for 110 lbs. Then I just hung this swing up. I rock my daughter (15 months) in it for her nap. She falls asleep very quickly, and then I pick her up and put her in the crib. Quick, easy, no fuss. I never ever leave her alone in the swing though!

It probably will depend on the size of the child/toddler. My granddaughter started at Age 1 and is still using it at 2 1/2 yrs. old...and she is in the 90% percentile for height and weight :)
