Worked great on super thick dog hair

They do cut well but it only cuts on the upper part of blades. If you try to cut further back on blade, they just bind up.

I DO like these- I have some sheep that needed a quick “ haircut” rather than a full shearing and these worked quite well. HOWEVER- the wooden handle covers came off after the first 30 minutes( I still have them but they work without them ). The size is good for my hands and the blades are sharp and precise. Cannot do large amount of trimming at one time ( grass or wool), as the blades will cross and lock up, but that’s probably operating error on my part!overall, handy and good value for occasional need!

Missed the return date or these would have gone right back.These won't work for sheep.The bladed don't come together to cut after the first half inch.They look good and the price looks good but they are useless.Ymmv...I'm going to buy the ones made in Germany for $34
