It is extremely difficult to find 15-watt light bulbs in hardware stores and they are needed for salt lamps, magnifying mirrors, and more. They come packaged in a styrofoam base that protect them from breakage.

Works better than the original bulb in my salt lamp. But if your salt lamp is the bunch of rocks like mine in a basket make sure to clean out the bulb plug first as salt debris gets in there. Happy with purchase.
