travis-Nitrous does two things. !st it cools the fuel and air mix which condenses the mixture and thus creats a more violent explosion in the combustion chamber. 2nd it fools the computer into thinking the engine is running lean and it adds more fuel to the chamber. The more fuel the more nitrous and you get an extreme increase in performance.-Russ
