Lycopene is red. Why are these capsules not red?

The capsules are colorless and transparent. The contained powder is pale yellow-to-pink. I think the color is consistent with the label: 50 mg of 5% lycopene in a total weight (including capsule) of 640 mg.

I have bought other brands of lycopene and the powder in the capsule is red. But why is this lycopene powder white?

I no longer use this brand and I don't know why it's white. I know use NusaPure Lycopene & Lutein Complex 50 mg. The powder is reddish orange. Hope this helps you.
