How to fix mesh under a bird feeder to block to block rats from eating the dropperad bird food?

I would suggest a .22 air rifle, I have found that this is the only thing that works, and is better for the environment than putting down rat poison.

How would I be able to stick this to the base of a plastic storage draw? as glue gun has failed me

We tried some 'Gorilla Glue' to stick to an airbrick and this seemed to work where the specialist glue gun failed. It seems to still be in situ but left a bit of an orange mess around the edges. If you are not bothered by the aesthetics of said process, it might be worth a go.

what do i need to attach it to the air bricks and other areas i think mice could use to get in?

Depends what sort of air brick and how old it is but what I did was to offer the mesh up to the brick and cut a piece of mesh about an inch bigger than the air brick and use plugs and screw it to the wall over the air brick. If you use mastic or some such the mice will probably eat it. Bit worried about what you say about "other areas" .... holes in brickwork can be filled but holes in say woodwork coming through an outside door or fence I would suggest you call the local council rat catcher to bait the area because if you fill them they will eat their way through in another area. If you choose to bait the area make sure all holes coming into the property are blocked with say a rag soaked in some sort of creosote or smelly fence treater because you don't want a dead "thing" decomposing under the floor boards !! its not nice while it lasts.
