Great soilless prep for plants needing good drainage.
Purchased for repotting some plants. I like this preparation because of the Perlite in it helps so much with drainage. It's also soilless so can be used for cactus or succulents and tropical plants. I don't care for the commercial prep soils with all the "fertilizer" already in it. I prefer to control what my plans are fed myself. If too much nitrogen all you get is green leaves and no blooms. This preparation works very well and does not compact down like some planting media then no oxygen gets to the roots.

Healed a sick tree
My money tree had some kind of flying insects living in the soil, that would come out fly around the tree and then dig underground again and my tree was ill. I replaced the soil with this one and the tree is all healthy again.

Not disappointed, but….
Good quality. Not disappointed but could probably mix my own up for less by unit.

small quantity but seemingly good quality
this is a very expensive way to buy soil and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have, like, a single plant. but I bought it for part of a re-potting gift set for someone who only has a single plant, and it was perfect!

Great soil
I love this soil

Not great drainage
Just not very impressed that I have to aerate the soil before water will go through.

My Money Tree Loves This Stuff
I’m one of those guys who has killed every plant given him. I can’t even keep succulents alive. So when my wife gave me a money tree for my office to celebrate a successful project, I was determined to change my ways. The money tree arrived surrounded by peat whose main purposes was to be lightweight to reduce shipping costs. The first time I watered, most went straight through and out the bottom of the cheap container. So I ordered a self-watering pot (I cannot judge when to water things on top of just forgetting to water) and began to look for soil. There were certainly several recommendations for soil mixes online. But to buy charcoal, coco husks, compost and peat was way more than I was willing to spend to re-pot one plant. This soil seemed to have a good mixture of the most important things, so it’s what I chose. It’s a choice I’m very happy with. The re-potting went well (note: a larger tree would likely need multiple bags) and my money tree is thriving. The leaves are green and buoyant, and new leaves are sprouting like crazy. My money tree loves this stuff, and so do I.
