Good quality, highly recommend. Great heat output.
Works incredibly well. Got it for a homeless friend living in a small camper w/o electricity. Ran it for about 10-15 minutes and it kept the space warm for hours during cold Michigan temps. Highly recommend this.

Mr. Heater Little Buddy: A Portable and Powerful Heating Companion
This Mr. Heater Little Buddy has become my go-to for staying warm in various situations. Whether I'm camping, working in the garage, or dealing with a power outage, this little heater provides reliable and efficient warmth. What I liked:Portable and Compact: It's incredibly lightweight and easy to carry around. The compact size makes it easy to store and transport.Powerful Heat Output: Despite its small size, this heater packs a punch. The 3800 BTU output is enough to warm up a small space quickly. Indoor Safe: The oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) and accidental tip-over safety shut-off provide peace of mind when using it indoors. Easy to Use: Simply connect a 1lb propane cylinder, turn the knob, and push the igniter button. It's that easy! Efficient Fuel Consumption: It runs for a decent amount of time on a single propane cylinder.Minor Considerations:Open Flame: As with any propane heater, it's important to use it in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from flammable materials. Not for Large Spaces: This heater is designed for small spaces. It's not ideal for heating large rooms. Overall:The Mr. Heater Little Buddy is a fantastic portable heater that's perfect for a variety of situations. It's compact, powerful, and easy to use. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and portable heating solution.

Great little heater!
The heater went out in my car and is going to cost more to fix than what the car is worth. I am buying a new car in the spring, but needed a way to heat the car through the winter. Bought this heater to keep me warm on my half hour drives to and from work every day. So far we've only had morning temps. in the mid 20's, but I turn this heater on and put it in the car 10 minutes before I leave and the car is toasty warm inside, it actually gets too warm when I'm about half way to work and have to shut it off just so I'm not sweating. Although this is a little bit bigger than what I was expecting, it does the job that I need it to do. I thought about getting an electric heater, but the ones that plug into the cigarette lighter don't even give off enough heat to defog the windshield and the one that hardwire directly to the battery can be bulky, I didn't want to bother with the wiring and they are not portable. The other reason I decided to go with this to heat my car is the fact that it is portable. I have a shed that I use as a workshop and this little heater would be perfect for heating my workspace. From other reviews it seems as though one small propane tank last about 4-5 hours. I cannot really vouch for that yet, but I have used this for three days now, 20-25mins in the morning and 10-15 minutes after work each day and there is still well over half a tank. The only downfall I've found is that when this guy is on it's on, there is no knob to turn it up or down. Oh and the work "ON" is embossed on the on button, not so much of a problem with the heater itself, but really doesn't feel all that wonderful while holding the button down to light the unit.

Negative reviews can be misleading...please read (sorry it's long!)
UPDATE: After ending up unexpectedly in Rawlins, WY in April (19 degrees overnight!), I put this heater to the test! It absolutely saved us from freezing! Through no fault of the product, it only ran for 6 hours or so (when the canister ran out of fuel), but it kept us comfortable through the night. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this heater!(Original post) Full disclosure: I haven't had the chance to use this heater in the field (van camper) yet, but will be using it over the next few weeks (thus only 4 stars for now). I'm writing this review anyway because there seems to be much confusion around this product.Issue #1: Multiple reviews I read indicated this item does not work with Coleman propane cannisters. Because of this, I ordered Bernzomatic cannisters from Amazon - at double the price! - only to learn they won't arrive in time for my upcoming trip after all. So, not one to be defeated, I headed to my local Walmart and grabbed a 4-pack of the Coleman cannisters to try. And guess what? I am able to use them just fine! They fit into the heater base easily, and it does not feel unstable at all. There is a soft plastic "boot" on the Coleman cannister - presumably to allow it to stand on its own in other applications - but it can be removed if you're having issues getting the cannister into the Buddy base. As noted, the Coleman are significantly less expensive than other brands, so knowing this is a workable option will hopefully help you.Issue #2: When I opened my box today and took the pieces out, I heard what sounded like a ball/bearing rolling around in the heater unit: oh, no! I immediately assumed the worst, came to Amazon to ask the question, and read many answers where users experienced the same thing. Most responses indicated returning the heater immediately, with no indication that it was ever tested. ONE user explained that the noise is the safety mechanism that turns the unit off if tipped: well that gave me hope! I finally looked at the instructions (which I hadn't even done yet, cuz you know, who needs instructions?) and there's a page stapled to the front of the instruction booklet that specifically explains this!Again, I haven't field-tested the unit yet, but did try it here at the house, and it definitely started producing heat pretty quickly - so it seems to be working. I will try to upload some pics and will update my review after traveling with the heater. BTW, I ordered a "used - very good" version to save some money, and while the original box was somewhat damaged, the parts inside were in perfect condition! As of now, I would definitely recommend this heater! Thanks for reading this far - hope it was helpful!

Nice portable heater.
It heats very well, is quiet (great for hunting!), and is more portable than my larger buddy heater. I get a ton of use out of this one.
