I've been told in the past I needed to take fish oils, but on trying other brands had issues with fishy burps and no improvement anyway. This particular brand was recommended by my Lasik surgeon to manage dry eyes post surgery, and they've become essential to my life. There is no unpleasant taste or burps. They clearly help out with dry eye, to the point that I can feel if I've missed them for a day. In fact, even if I take them when my eyes are feeling already sore and dry I generally notice an improvement within the hour, although I have no earthly idea how that's possible so maybe it's just a placebo effect.Regardless, as someone who tried and was unimpressed by various fish oils over the years, these have blown me away with how much relief they can help provide for dry eye symptoms. They're expensive but well worth the price for me.

I was told by my eye doc that I needed to start eye drops and once you start, you cannot stop. My eyes were dry after cataract surgery and the dryness was effecting my vision. He said I could try fish oil and see if it would help. I found these and decided to buy one bottle and if I saw a difference I would continue them, if not I would do the drops. After one bottle I could see clearly and no more dry eyes. It's been at least 2 years and I still don't need drops! I love PureEncapsulations!

Great product. I notice a difference when I don't take it.

Use this for my dry eye and it has gotten a lot better. Take 4 of these daily, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Best to not take all at once as that much fatty acid can cause digestion issues. Also use this product with Systane Ultra drops during the day & Systane Gel drops at night.This comes with a descant in the container which keeps the gel caps from sticking together in a clump unlike the other brand I use to get which would be a big clump. Little more expensive then the other brand but this one contains Borage Seed Oil with GLA which does help with better tear production and if you are female and going thru menopause it may help with hot flash's :).UPDATE: 08/20/18I did try going with out the fish oil for a few months and my dry eye condition got a lot worse, sometimes watering so bad I would have to stop what I was doing and my eyes would get sore from wiping them. Even though they are expensive it is worth and will probably be on these forever.

I really wanted to like this product since another one of their vitamins changed my life. But this one, makes me feel sick, and within 20 minutes I get a gross nauseating fishy taste in my mouth. I am going to finish these because I spent so much money on them. But I won’t buy them again. It made my body odor smell fishy, and the fishy taste is almost unbearable. I tried taking these before bed, made no difference when it only took a matter of minutes before I had the flavor of them. Taking them with food made no difference.

These work great for dry eyes
