Ninja wannabe
Bought these for my 8y old ninja wannabe son. The foam padding means that every time he clouts himself with them it’s followed by a laugh as opposed to a hospital visit. Despite the foam, they’ve still got enough weight in them to mean that they swing correctly. The quality is good for the price and they seem like they’ll last a while.

Inspired by a friend who can do this
They're well constructed, look cool, feel safe (padding good and doensn't feel like anything is going to fly off while swinging it fast) so can't really fault it. It definitely scratched the random impulse purchase urge and a nice fidget toy while working from home.

Decent practice nunchucks, but short lifespan
They’re decent for practice and feel good to handle, but they snapped quicker than I expected. To be fair, that might be down to my speed and power, but I still think they should be a bit tougher. Ended up moving on to steel ones pretty quickly. Gave it 3 stars for being useful to start with, but not built to last.
