Why did you pick this product vs others?:In my book this is a great product. I feel better and I am not as hungry when I take it.

This L-glutamine supplement really helps with muscle recovery and digestion. I feel less soreness after workouts and notice better gut health. Mixes well and no weird aftertaste. Solid quality!

I really like these supplements. The cost is a little high, but for the sense of peace that you know what you’re getting I feel like it’s worth it. I don’t have any adverse side effects because the supplements are high-quality. I appreciate that their packaging doesn’t have a ton of extra space like most supplements, though there is still extra packaging.

Like with any supplement, i don't know if it's really working, so the only review I can give is that it hasn't caused me any problems, it arrived speedily, & hasn't made me sick.

I have liked Pure Encapsulation vitamins every time and these were great. The only downside is I read an article talking about using L'glutamine to heal leaky gut and he recommended 10 to 15 g per day! So I had to get a powder to use to treat for the first 2 to 3 weeks and then use this one for maintenance.

I use Pure for all of my supplements I take. Is clean made with real ingredients. I highly recommend it.

Just to give a background on my situation. A number of years ago I had used stimulant laxatives as a crutch whenever I was constipated. I didn’t use them excessively, but more than I should have at a certain point in my life. In retrospect, I wish I would have used Metamucil instead. That, and strenuous exercise has caused my ileum to be very sluggish, which has been verified by seeing a specialist & having tests done. And I tend to be constipated as a result.Fast forward to now, I experiment with & struggle to find various supplements to help my stomach motility. I’ve tried 3 different kinds of l-glutamine, including this brand. One brand I tried seemed to make me feel worse where I’d wake up in the morning feeling more bloated & a part of my digestive tract felt frozen, like it was pushing out. But I feel that the Pure Encapsulations brand works best for my situation. I feel it’s effective, yet gentle & has a calming effect on my digestive tract. In fact, my ileum was bothering me this morning where food was struggling to go through my ileum & I kept having spasms where it pressed against my lower back. Shortly after breakfast I took the pure encapsulations brand of l-glutamine. About 2 hours later, my digestive tract calmed down & the food passed through. And I felt an overall sense of calm through my body once the ileum spasm subsided. Not all brands of a particular type of supplement are created equal, and of course we all take l-glutamine for different reasons. I’m so glad that I found this brand of l-glutamine as I feel it works best for my situation. My bowel movements feel more complete as well. I recommend this brand for anyone who has IBS.
