I couldn't use this shoulder cuff for a few days after my shoulder surgery becasue of the weight of the ice water that accumulate in the cuff. This was even too heavy with 1/2 of the ice water filled in the cuff. The good news is that I'm one week after my surgery and the cuff is providing excellent therapy with the ice water nearly filled in the cuff. The weight with the ice water filled may or may not be an issue for you but its a great product and it provides needed therapy...

This product is a replacement for another part that was worn out. It works extremely well.

I bought products like this in 1995 when I played intramural soccer. I used the ankle cuff and it was wonderful. It works well today 27 years later. Recently, I started suffering from the pain of arthritis in one f my knees. I bought this product (Cryo knee cuff) to reduce swelling/pain on the knee. Within three weeks of purchase, glue backing on almost all of the Velcro strips failed. One Velcro strip failing is bad enough, but almost all of them failed about the same time; just after two weeks of ownership. I discovered this failure several days after Amazon's 1 month return policy expired so I am out $109, and have lost my pain alleviation tool.

The only reason I couldn't use mine, is that my husband who will be taking care of after TKR, he has his own issues, and the Orthopedic doctor suggested this particular kind would be more work for him. Sadly, not that I think for one minute you are charging too much for the better kinds, but we just can't afford it, along with costly meds we take. But if my hub didn't have difficulties as well, it just might have been fine, I would say worth trying if there are no physcail incapabilities of your caretaker that would cause difficulty as I first stated. For any of us having surgery, GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US, . .. .I need it, but Im a wreck. Gotta get over that pretty quick!!!

Just as described.Medical grade. I had one for a shoulder this knee cuff works and fits perfectly. Came immediately. works well as a replacement or addition to the Cryocuff you may already have.
