Very moisturizing but hate the price
I don't mind the strong smell and I find it rather relaxing. I like how it feels in my skin. It feels very hydrated which is great for drying winter. It's not sticky. The skin absorb everything. A little goes a long way. I removed 1 star for the price. I bought this during prime day. It's a small bottle and totally not worth the price. If it's $40 ish than I can say its totally worth the price but not for over $70. I would repurchase if it goes on sale. Totally recommend it if you're fine with the price.

As it says it is a balm so it is a little on the oily side but that is why it works so good.
I have been using this product for quite some time as my night cream. Keeps my skin moisturized all night long. As it says it is a balm so it is a little on the oily side but that is why it works so good.

Strong scented balm
Medicinal smell, which may be off putting for some (I like it!).. I find that you have to scrape it out of the container to use, it is thick like a lip balm, not like a cream or lotion. It works well on very dry skin patches.

Aromatherapy balm
This is a beautiful and rich balm perfect to use for sensitive or irritated skin. I use it only sporadically but benefits of calmed skin and relief form redness is nearly immediate. This generous size packaging will last one a very long time.

Meant for face but better for cracked hands and super dry feet!
This is a super hydrating balm. It is pretty thick but it blends very easily into this skin. I find it a bit oily but it's perfect for my super dry feet and cracked hands. I have used it on my face but it breaks me out. So I just like to use it on my body. It has a herby scent but I don't mind it at all. It comes with a little scoop so you don't have to dig your finger into the jar. I do find that it's a bit pricey for a small jar. I don't think this is worth $74. I think you can find thick moisturizers at the drugstore for the fraction of the price. This is perfect for the winter months. If you have super dry skin this is perfect for your skin type. A little bit goes a long way. Yes it is one of the best hydrating balms I've ever tried but I just don't think it's worth 74 dollars.

A Very Good Balm For The Face
Skin balms can be a little tricky to select. A lot of them leave an oily surface on the skin and smell somewhat strong. This one has the thickness of a balm, but does not leave oily residues on the surface. It works well and is ideal for using on the face. There are times though when I do use it on my hands when I need the boost but don't feel like dealing with greasy hands. It moisturizes quite well and acts very much like a good barrier for the skin.It does have the normal scent of most other skin balms except that it's not as strong smelling. Only lightly so and not what I think of as bothersome. That's especially important when using this on your face.Because it's not all that oily, it doesn't spread all that far on the face. You'll need to use several scoops to cover your whole face if that's your intention. It's dry enough to not be oily, but there's enough of an oil base to deeply moisturize the skin. In some ways, it kind of reminds me of softened bees wax.I would easily give this balm 5 stars except or for the outrageously high price of $74 (today's price) for a small 2 ounce jar. It's very good, but that's just too expensive.

Love the texture
I really wanted to like this balm because it feel sooooooo smooth and wonderful. Its just too strong for my skin. I can't figure out what ingredient I'm reacting to, but it has a really strong smell and I think the essential oils are just too strong for sensitive skin.I'm giving it four stars because if you can handle the intense smell, I think it would be a great balm. Its thick, even thicker than Vasoline, which feels so great on my skin. It comes with a small "spoon" to dispense it from the jar, which I like since it keeps the jar contents cleaner. Since you use so little at a time, I think the jar will last for a good while. The strong essential oils do mean that you have to be careful to not accidentally rub any of this in your eye (from your fingers). And most of us probably need to avoid the eye area completely and only use this on our hands, neck, or other areas far away from the eyes.I really loved the idea of this product, I just wish the essential oils weren't so overpowering.Pros:Great textureA little goes a long wayGreat ingredientsCons:Very strong essential oilsMay not work for sensitive skin because of the strong oils

Gave me an allergic reaction!
Hard pass for me.I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to review this item. I received it for free in exchange for my honest review, but as of the date of this review it was priced at $74. So I thought cool, this expensive tiny jar of balm must be really effective if it’s so expensive. It comes with a tiny little scoop. At first I was a little confused as to why, there are no directions other than to apply over dry skin. As I opened the jar a wafting strong herby medicinal smell came up. Now I LOVE the smell of herbs. I use a lot of balms made with essential oils so I’m not stranger to the strong herby smell, but this was just awful. Everyone in the house groaned with disapproval of the scent.I then proceeded to use the little scoop to scoop out some of the balm. It was solid, and definitely needs the scoops for easy application (so don’t lose it!). I I scooped a small amount on the my hand and rubbed it until it dissolved and the proceeded to apply to my hands and arms. Again, the smell was over powering, but I figured I wanted to see this through. However, within minutes my hands and arms started stinging. I had to wash it off, and still now my hands feel hot and sore. So I’m not sure what I’m there caused my skin to get angry, but I was clearly sensitive or allergic to something. While it was on my hands I noticed it was very oily and would have taken a long time to fully absorb.I am completely disappointed with this product. Even without the sensitive reaction, the smell is just awful, and I can’t imagine having used something that smelled so pungent.
