I have been buying these paints for my classroom since 1996! I purchased a set for my gkids and they absolutely love them. It’s like giant watercolor cakes. No spills, just awesome, easy clean up, fun! 🤩

Loved this product - worth a little extra as water colors always dissolve away! Easy to pop out of the tray if you want to share with a group.

I bought this item because I wanted to experiment with tempera paints and it was inexpensive. I also liked the idea of the solid cakes of paint and haven't been disappointed. They don't make a mess and paint isn't wasted. I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of these paints. They are very easy to use and I have been able to blend them to make all kinds of colors with fantastic color payoff. Also, I'll be able to reuse the plastic container it comes in.

I use these paints all the time for large banners and posters.

I'm an artist. I bought these because I was interested in the non-toxic opaque quality I associate with liquid tempera paints. These paints give nice transparent effects but it takes awhile for the cakes to activate to the point of achieving deep saturated color. Overall, I liked using them. I found it surprising that I was able to achieve transparent effects usually associated with watercolors. Once activated, I was able to get those deep opaques usually associated with liquid tempera. I like these paints and consider them a good investment. I gave them 4 stars because of the slow activation.

We LOVE these paints in our house. They are easy to use and clean up, and the colors are vibrant. They paint like water colors, but they are easier for a toddler to manipulate. (But I like painting with them, too). The large size makes them easy to clean if the colors get mixed up. I know they aren't water colors, but they are used like water colors, and I think they are the perfect entry into teaching kids how to paint. Yay!

My class of pre-Kindergartener LOVE these!! I love that I don’t have to pour out paint everyday! These seem like they are going to be long lasting as I have had this paint for a few months, we use it regularly, and it doesn’t even look like the pucks have shrunk an inch!! Wish it had a lid... but that wouldn’t deter me from buying more!!

I bought these for my granddaughter but we are both enjoying using these. It's nice to have enough paint to add layering.

Thought that this was going to be smaller than the average 6 puck set but they are the same size. Bigger than they looked to me, so I was pleased. My sons uses these paints often and they have lasted really well. Very pigmented and great for kids. Washes off of stuff fairly easily as well.

We love these paints, have used and used and used them but they still seem brand new. Really great compared to how much we were spending on tempera paint.

The colors are gorgeous! Setup is extremely fast and easy. Amazing quality, at an incredibly low price. I highly recommend! To improve, the company should provide a lid for easier storage.

Maybe put it in a box or something to make it a bit more appealing. It comes just wrapped in plastic how it is in the photo, but I think a box with a picture of some kind, showing what you can do with them, might make it look more appealing to young children. Our grand daughter was a bit confused at first about what they were.

Love using this, wish it had a lid. I was finding we wasted so much paint paint dumping it out for my toddler. This is not as beneficial for my 18 month old but for 3+, it's great!
