This is the third memory card I've purchased for my desktop. The first two were from other sellers and turned out to be server cards. You can't tell from looking at the sticks.I gave this card a try and got the 5 beeps at startup. The fan went into overdrive. I turned it off, looked at the cards and found MY error. The card wasn't seated properly.After I fixed it, it started up flawlessly. Checked the system specs. All registered and working.Great deal. Good value. Happy again. Thank you.

Direct fit, much faster

I bought this because I was using too many tabs in Chrome. It would freeze when I hit 99% usage of RAM. I installed another 8GB and now its freezing above 75%. That means This chip is not working or not working well. I am passed the days to return this.
