Personal Table Fan with Storage Tray, 2 Quiet Speeds, Tilt-Back Fan Head for Home Office, Bedroom, 6", White, 2002W

I've bought four of these now... and will likely buy more in time. The first one was bought for a bedside fan several years ago. It's size, quietness, and two speeds work perfectly for this task. It's got solid all-plastic construction on the base and housing, which I like - feels like this thing could fall over or off my nightstand and just bounce and keep working. I like that, especially for an electric device I'm often reaching over and adjusting whilst half-asleep. The front grille comes off easily for cleaning. Despite being several years old now, this fan is still working as well as it did when brand new. But having reached a *certain age*... I've found the need for cooling in areas other than the bedroom, so this fan's become my go-to addition to every room/spot I tend to spend a lot of time in. It's small enough to fit anywhere, and all four that I've bought work just as well as the first one. They're quiet, but powerful, and are light years better than any other fans I've tried out over the years - even larger / more expensive ones. As long as they keep making these, I'll keep buying 'em!

I love this little fan! My office at work has a huge window covering 2/3 of the outer wall so it's not very well insulated. In the mornings it's chilly and in the afternoon it gets hot. My boss bought me a space heater that also has a fan function but the fan is SO loud that I'm pretty sure I should be protecting my ears. I decided to buy a separate fan and looked at several small models suitable for desktop placement. I really wanted something quiet and digging into the reviews of several models, this one looked like a good bet and I've had good luck with Lasko products over the years. I've only used it for a few days but seriously I'm in love with it. It has two speeds and on the low, you can't even hear it, at least not over the usual computer noise. The high speed is audible but not at all bad. It blows so much air over a fairly wide expanse that I can point it about 2 feet away from me and get the most lovely cool gentle breeze. I'm going to suggest my boss buy one for himself I'm no longer dreading the afternoons.

When I ordered this, I thought it was a bit pricy. When I was paying I noticed I could get it in the easy open packaging, which I like. When I selected that, the price went down considerably. I figured they would be open products which showed up in a plain cardboard box, but it was still in original box. Fan works nicely - you can leave it on "1" pretty much right next to you and still use your speaker phone in the office with zero issue. On "2" it blows enough air to satisfy most. If you are using it not pointed directly at you and expect a massive airflow, you probably need to look at another model. I point this right at the back of my head and it is plenty of breeze.

10 years ago I bought one of these at walmart. For 10 years its operated nice and silently, proving a little breeze when my darn office was set at that odd juncture between just right and uncomfortably warm. When the AC went out completely at work, its was god-send. I'd derp and leave it on over the weekend, and still it spun away without fail for 10 years. I just replaced it now because it finally developed a clicking sound. Not bad at all for a fan. This model fan is quite silent in operation with only a very light woosh of moving air coming from it. So if are like me and like quiet in the office, this is a good pick. Just don't count on this to be a white noise generator. Its also just the right size. Its not so huge it takes up 1/4 of your desk. Its also not so powerful it blows your paperwork everywhere. Its perfect to set on a desk to keep that light sweat off your forehead.

I have been through three other personal fans before this one. They were the four inch high velocity fans with steel blades and they were terrible. I paid 11 to $12 for each one of those 3 fans and not one of them lasted more than a year. They were also Extremely Loud and ratrled alot and only had one speed setting. This fan is none of those things this fan is exactly what I needed. For just a few dollars more I have something that's a much higher quality it has two speed settings it comes with a stand and it's adjustable, but only up or down. The cord is also nice and long but it is not usb-powered and that reflects in the size of the motor they used. The thing is noticeably more powerful even on its lowest setting than any of those cheap $10 4 inch high velocity fans. USB powered fans simply cannot provide enough electricity to the motor to make the air flow more powerful. It even has a muscle indentation where you can put paper clips or push pins perfect for an office setting. The grill comes off pretty easily for cleaning; there's four little plastic clips. The fan is almost whisper-quiet and shouldn't disturb anybody much less you. My only complaints are only comes in white and you can't turn the fan left or right you just have to move the base. That being said I highly recommend this fan and I anticipated lasting much longer than my other ones if something changes I will come back and edit this review. Do yourself a favor and skip over those High Velocity usb fans theyre crap and this is much better. It stands about 10 to 12 in tall the court is about 6 foot long. The diameter of the blades are 6 in. Ive owned numerous Lasko fans at home and I swear by the brand. Lasko makes a dependable product and again I highly recommend any of their fans. No need to spend a fortune on Vornado just buy a Lasko.

Motor failed in three weeks.

Your product does not work in India because in india there is 220 volts current nand your fan works with 120 volts.when i start the product it runs only 10-15minutes only.and here local mechanic cant able to repair the fan so can u help me how could i repair this fan.plz reply

A mi me gustó mucho este ventilador de escritorio. Echa la cantidad perfecta de aire. Si fuera más fuerte sería incómodo. Leí alguna opinión que decía que echaba poco aire, pero para el escritorio es más que suficiente.

El ventilador nunca funciono, nunca giro y el motor dañado que hace un ruido y esta amarrado. Simplemente recien entregado y dañado. Bonito y practico, pero lastima que no cumplio con su funcion debido a estar dañado.

Recibí un ventilador que no servía para nada.
