The Art of Kouji Ogata - Boogiepop and Others (Japanese Art Book)

First off- the pictures posted on amazon were photos of the specific copy I received (so the book's condition/shelf wear will be different from other sellers).I very much recommend anyone a fan of Boogiepop or Ogata's artwork buy this book. It's beautiful; the printing and paper are high quality. I really felt my Boogiepop collection just wasn't complete without this book. It features some of the artwork in the english-language novels in larger format, and the black and white images are a better resolution than the novels. There's also some art that was featured in novels that were not translated into english (and won't ever be).I also enjoyed the artwork in the book that was not Boogiepop, very interesting characters. Some of them are cute, while others have some of the same atmosphere as Boogiepop.There's not much text in the book, which is mostly in Japanese. A number of captions have bits of english, as do the titles for each new portion/chapter of the book.Bottom line, if you are interested, I would buy it before it's too late, since it's been long out of print.
