Swanson is a reliable brand, for those who want to take what they're supposed to be taking. Swanson doesn't hide behind labels or fake claims, so you know what you're getting, and without the hyper-inflated prices. Well, usually...I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain. I take a variety of supplements, of which includes magnesium threonate and citrulline malate. I wanted to boost the malic acid, though, but I can't say that there was any difference either way with Swanson's Malic Acid.I'll be trying another brand, but keeping this one in mind to re-attempt. It's budget friendly, and it's very difficult to find simply malic acid as capsules, without it being chelated. ALWAYS read the ingredients, not just the label's big letters on the front, as many aren't actually malic acid but malate chelates! (Looking at you, Source Naturals!!). I could opt for the pucker-sour powder, but I'm not trying to destroy the teeth, nor am i a fan of sourness, anyway.I mean, if you're obsessed with apples, that's another way and you know you're getting the pure thing with those green Granny Smith apples! 😂The point - Swanson is generally a reliable brand; I just don't know if it did anything, though.

There is nothing wrong with the brand name or the product but I thought 18 days for delivery was a bit long. I guess it got lost but nobody would say. Next time I am switching brands and will see if that solves this problem.

Been taking Swanson Malic acid for at least 15 years for my fibromyalgia. 1 a day seems to be what I can handle. My FM is very severe but this keeps it under control and manageable. If I run out, usually within about a week I can barely walk. I'm not 100% pain-free but like I said, my FM is manageable with this and without it, it's not tolerable.Shelly C.
