Learn Adobe InDesign CC for Print and Digital Media Publication: Adobe Certified Associate Exam Preparation (Adobe Certified Associate (ACA))

This book has excellent videos. For someone who has a very basic knowledge of Indesign, this book takes you to a new level. It covers all the areas well. What made the experience not so pleasing was that it was through the videos in the web edition that you gained most of the knowledge.

I'm somewhat disappointed with the book for one simple reason which is probably common in books of this type over time. Adobe changed some things in the software so the illustrations etc in the book no longer match up. Just be aware of the change.I'm writing this here the day after Christmas 2020 so it's certainly not the biggest disaster this year.I've used other Adobe Press books in the past for classes I'm taking and this is the first one with a real issue to be fair. I'd just suggest making sure you get the most up to date book. I opted to try this because of the certification aspect. I think you might be better trying Youtube than this. Or maybe the Classroom in Book as personally I've never had an issue like this with that series. Given the price it's unfortunate. I think in the old days they would have been discounting this and putting it in with the outdated bargains probably.I'll probably think twice about buying another certified exam title but we'll see. It wasn't assigned in a class I was just trying to learn it on my own. Not a huge deal but be aware.
