I was hoping for a round, closed top end. But this one's okay. Kinda afraid to open the box because of the chemical content warning. 😬

I use survey pins with my 300' rag tape and these pins are the perfect length to anchor my tape for field measurements. I even gave 4 away to co-workers

I love these chaining pins. Very sturdy and easy to see in the field.

Metal is thin and cheap . They will bend and be ruined putting them in the ground even by hand I would not recommend these

Very hard to find these at an affordable price. These work great and are good quality.

I just got these and have only used them once - so far, so good. As a side note, years ago you could buy chaining pins and they were solid steel, with a closed loop at the top. I have not found them with a closed loop in several years now. That might not be an important feature for some users, but it is for me. I bought this particular item because the picture shows a closed loop. But they came with an open loop. I closed the loop myself.
