I love this purple color, the coins were awesome because there are a lot of them, but it smelled really bad. The entire scarf smelled so bad and even after a month of having it, it hasn't "aired out" fully. Other than that, it's cute for the price and is holding up well during classes.

I LOVE this silver & black hip scarf!! I am very happy with this purchase! Quality item at a good price, not at all cheaply made. All of the coins are securely sewn on, and it is exactly as the photo advertises. It's a little heavy, due to so many rows of coins, on a soft, velour-like black material. The top two rows of sequins are mainly silver, with iridescence, so when it hits the light it sparkles a beautiful rainbow color. I am 5'5" tall, and wear around a size 10 in pants. I tie the scarf around the top of my hips (which measure 36"), and it goes almost all the way around. The layers of coins are long enough to cover my butt. When I tie the ends on one side, there's only about a 7.5" open space at its widest point, which doesn't cover anything. That being said, I've paid more for other coin hip scarves that don't cover as much as this one does. I would highly recommend this hip scarf!! If i didn't already have one in gold, I'd definitely buy one just like this one. I'm looking forward to belly dancing in this! Fast shipping was an added bonus as well!

I purchased this hip scarf for a belly dance class I just enrolled in. This skirt is super cute and seems to be very good quality. I read a lot of reviews before deciding to purchase this one versus all the others offered on Amazon. I am 5'7" and weigh 150lbs. My waist is about 30 inches and this skirt fits great. It could fit someone much larger than myself as well as someone much smaller. The length is as expected- it covers my bum. It's not super short- but it's not long either. Overall I'm satisfied with this product, it jingles as expected and looks great!

This seems like a decent product for the money. Purchased for a Halloween costume. I'm returning, as it was delivered too late for me to use. But, if I'm ever in the market for one of these again, I'd re purchase. Very jingly!

I recently took some belly dancing classes to expand my Horizons! It is fun and I needed a belly dancing skirt to wear to class and found this on Amazon, where else could I find one? It has a velvet like texture with lots of coins and beads attached! None fell off, I danced, stretched and shook those coins well! Another Great Amazon Buy!

I’ve had this hip scarf for 2 years now and it has held up beautifully. It is heavy, the stitching is strong, the coins are overlapping and they jingle great. The purple is rich deep eggplant. The material almost reminds me of thin velvet. I’m 35” at the widest part of my hips and this wraps completely around to where the ties start. I’m now buying another color.

I started taking a Zumba class with a new instructor who always has a bollywood style dance in her class. She always wears her skirt and loves to jingle. Since I committed to the class, thought I would get a skirt too, to fit in and have fun. I looked for a few days for a Belling dancing skirt before I found this one. I loved that there were several different color selections. The skirt arrived and it was excellent quality and great durability. I have used the skirt for several Zumba classes and have not had a stitch come undone or a bead come off. I am also a full figured lady and have not issue with the tying the skirt to fit my waist. I would definitely purchase this again!

The ladies in my Zumba class all wear belly scarves during class. I was told I could get one for $10 and I saw the $10 ones that some ladies had. However, for just a few dollars more, I was able to get what I believe is a much better quality product. This belly scarf is made up of a sturdier fabric and has a lot more coins than the cheaper scarf. Have not taken it to class yet, but I think it will hold up and perform well.

Ordered this one because it looked beautiful on the pic. Seller shipped pretty quick and it arrived earlier than expected. However, a huge disappointment as it doesn't look as pictured. Coins are sparse and their chime is pretty weak. Its design is all in all a bit different from the picture too. Made of pretty cheap and coarse fabric. I need this urgently, otherwise i would return.

I have been trying to get this one for ages, am really pleased with it.

It looks nice. It would fit a lot of people because it ties on. But I haven't used it yet because it has taken a while to get rid of the terrible chemical smell it came with. It is still drying from my latest hand washing of it. Hopefully the smell has gone now.
